INVITATION

Dear HST Friends,

Amateur Radio Union Of Serbia (SRS) as the hosting society and amateur radio club “Soko” (YU1ASB) Sokobanja, as the direct organizer of the 1^st HST WORLD CUP, have the honor and the pleasure to invite all national amateur radio societies and their members to visit our country, and participate in this Cup.

We would like to invite not only competitors but also all radio-amateurs and fans of this sport. They will have a chance to enjoy in Serbia and our hospitality.

VENUE

The Championship will be held in Sokobanja.

The Sokobanja spa is located in the central part of southeastern Serbia, sitting in a valley of the same name and surrounded by the chain of mountains – Rtanj (1,560m) on the north, Ozren (1,174m) on the south, Devica (1,116m) on the southeast, Slemen (1,099m) and Krstatac (1,069m) on the east, Bukovik (894m) and Rozanj (897m) on the west. The town is 230km from Belgrade, 320km from Novi Sad, and only 60km from Nis and the Nis Airport.     http://www.sokobanja.com/

ACCOMMODATION

PROGRAMM

1st of May  (Wednesday)	Arrival of Participants, Registration, Accommodation, Opening ceremony, Coctail for Team Leaders and officials, Meeting of Team Leaders
2nd of May (Thursday)	Competition
3rd of May (Friday)	Competition
4th of May (Saturday)	Free day-spare time, Excursions, Awarding ceremony, Closing of the Cup and Ham fest
5th of May (Sunday)	Departure of Participants

TRANSPORTATION

There will be different transportation options (travel by car, bus, plane). The nearest airports are in Niš and Belgrade.

VISAS

The citizens of majority of countries expected to take part in the Cup do not need visa to enter in Serbia. Participans that need visas will be informed accordingly after receiving their request.

WEATHER

The weather in this period of the year is stable, with daily temperatures 16–20°C.

Participation FEES

 Competitors and Officials

Price per participant for the whole Cup is 130 EUR.

The above fee covers:

·         Participation fee

·         Accommodation in 2-3-4 bed rooms with shower, WC, TV and telephone

·         Board - 3 meals daily (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

·         Free day cultural program and excursion

·         Ham fest

·         Souvenirs

PAYMENT METHOD

The societies and their members can make the payment in cash upon arrival .Those who want to make the payment in advance (it is recommended) could do it according to the requested Proforma Invoice.Please ask the contact person for the Proforma Invoice with details of payment.

Classification

• According IARU Rules for HST Championship (Cavtat 2007)

Prizes

• Medals for winners per categories and plaques for general team winners.
• All competitors, officials and visitors - diplomas of participation

NOTE:

There are no any restrictions of numbers of participants in any category from any country.
